Questions, problems, or feedback about High Videlity? Email
beta@highvidelity.com —
it goes straight to the developer, and every message gets read.
Report a problem from inside the app
The fastest way to report a bug is the built-in reporter: open Help › Report a Bug
(on Apple TV it's in Settings). It attaches the technical context we need to reproduce the problem —
you choose what to include before anything is sent, and reports are anonymous.
Report a community preset
Every community preset has a Report action in the app. Reported items are reviewed,
and anything objectionable is removed from the catalog for everyone. Preset authors can request
removal of their work the same way, or by email.
Common questions
- Do I need Apple Music? No. Apple Music is one of several audio sources. You can play
your own files, use the microphone, or just open a preset — the visuals run on their own.
- Do I need an account? No. There is no sign-in anywhere in the app.
- Where does stem separation run? On your Mac, with audio files you own. Other devices
pick up the result automatically. Your audio files never leave your machine.
- Something looks too flashy. "Reduce bright flashing" in Settings enables a
photosensitivity filter and live flash limiter. It's on by default.
- How is my data handled? Privacy-first, no ads, no tracking, anonymous usage reporting
off by default — the full detail is in the privacy policy.
